1. Who we are
Crease is a cricket scoring app provided by nopCypher (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app uses and why.
2. Data stored on your device
Crease works without an account. Everything you enter while scoring stays on your device: match details, team names, player names, ball-by-ball scores, notes and settings. Insights are calculated from these locally stored matches. We do not receive this data unless you choose to share it as described below.
3. Camera and photos
To join a match, you can scan a QR code with your camera or upload a photo of one. Crease uses the camera or the selected image only to read the join code. You can deny these permissions and type the 6-character code instead.
4. Invites and backup codes
When you create a match invite or a backup & share code, the match information needed for others to join or restore the match is stored on our servers for a limited time and then deleted automatically. Anyone who has the code can use it during that time. Only share codes with people you trust. You can close an invitation at any time to stop new players joining.
5. Purchases
Premium passes and subscriptions are bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment details are handled by those stores, and we never see your card information. We receive confirmation of your purchase so we can unlock Premium.
6. Exports
PDF scorecards and CSV exports (Premium) are created on your device. Where they go next is up to you, for example when you share them through another app.
7. Deleting your data
Because your matches are stored on your device, you can remove a match by resetting it, or remove everything by deleting the app. For data held in connection with invites or backup codes, contact us at info@quick-scoring.app.
8. Children
Crease is suitable for users aged 3 and over. The app does not require an account and does not ask for personal details such as an email address, phone number or location. Children under 18 should use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian, particularly when sharing invite or backup codes. If you believe a child has shared information with us that should be removed, email info@quick-scoring.app and we will delete it.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy, and we’ll change the date at the top when we do. Questions? Email info@quick-scoring.app or write to nopCypher, Surat, Gujarat, India.
